Testimonials
“Explore York truly enjoys working with Michele Granara of Adventures Abound—so much so that we’ve partnered with her twice now. We first connected at MATPRA, and it was clear right away that she understands how to bring a destination to life.
Michele is incredibly easy to work with and consistently goes above and beyond—capturing all the highlights we requested and then some. Her storytelling and photography beautifully showcases York County in a way that aligns perfectly with our goals, delivering authentic, engaging content we’re proud to share.
What really stood out was her attention to detail and commitment to getting it right. When she realized there were a few pieces of content she still needed, she made the effort to come back and capture everything thoroughly—ensuring nothing was missed and the story was complete.
We would absolutely partner with Michele again and highly recommend working with her.

We have had the pleasure of working with Michele on several campaigns for our client, Alabama’s Beaches, and would wholeheartedly recommend her to other brands and destinations. She is highly professional and consistently delivers creative, engaging content that resonates with audiences. Her blog posts have been among the most thorough and immersive pieces we’ve featured in a campaign, giving readers a genuine sense of the destination and inspiring them to experience it for themselves. We truly look forward to collaborating with Michele again on future campaigns.

Michele’s essay was well-researched, and she provided lots of in-depth knowledge on the history and importance of cacao and coffee in indigenous cultures in Central America. Her writing was sensitive and knowledgeable and included plenty of actionable information that readers could use to go off and explore farms, plantations and centers. The introduction to Michele’s essay was succinct and focused, providing readers with an overview of what to expect from the essay. She also provided interesting context in terms of the history of coffee growing in the region. Michele complied well with the brief of producing a well-written essay on an aspect of Central American culture/history. She kept to the briefed word count also and submitted her essay on time and to a high standard. Michele was very polite and managed to turn around AQs promptly, despite not having any knowledge of using Christo, instead replying to AQs in a PDF. – Lonely Planet editor
