Hi, I’m Michele: photographer, travel writer, and your realistic adventure wingwoman.

Sustainable Travel Guides

We’ve studied abroad and worked abroad in Costa Rica learning hands-on about sustainability. We lived and worked on an organic farm, sorted recycling and compost, harvested oranges to make fresh juice, and even took care of ducks and chickens.

We have interviewed communities affected by tourism and assisted in research involving anything from hummingbird feeders to carbon sequestration in pastures.

We have traveled the world learning the ins and outs of sustainable living and travel is no different.
